Thanks gentlemen. The disk split basicly into three parts. One third came off the top, one third came off the bottom and the center third with the splines stayed on. Both bolt holes broke out. Guess I'll try to break some more so I can get a three prong puller behind it. I'll also try the heat. If I can't, any other suggestions? And again, thanks. Kreek

Mornin Kreek, As clooney is looking for, whats left??? If whats left you can still get bolts in it or any type of 3 jaw puller arms attached somewhere (may be tough, depending on what is left where??? lol after the break), and if you havent already, I apply A LOT OF heat around the outer perimeter of the disk (around and around) where it mates with the crankshaft, then apply tension to the puller, then hammer the pullers end to shock it, then apply more heat and tension and shocking blows a bit at a time (tighten, heat, beat) and she usually breaks free. At least theres some good news, if its that tight the crank splines are probably okay and you wont need to buy any undersized disk or need other repairs. When I reinstall one I thoroughly clean and wire brush the crank and wire brush and apply a light coat of anti sieze to the threads and slowly impact her down. I dont put any lube or anti sieze on the crank (just bolt threads) but wonder whether or not thats a good thing???

Good Luck, God Bless the USA Ol John T Nordhoff

kkreek, how much of it broke? How much is left? Is it still useable? The good news is at least it was tight.
~There are a few ways to get it off but that depends on if you are trying to save what's left or how big the piece is that's on the crank.
