Darrell:

As I recall, the 'H' and 'G' had knobs, but the 'B' and 'A' did not. I think they became standard equipment on the numbered series. The shifter shaft has a pilot that was threaded to receive the knob.

This diagram shows a '60' shifter.

Darrell, the late B's were subbed to the 50 shift lever & big knob for replacement parts. On some of the late B's the shift parts were changed out to the later interlock shifter parts so the trans didn't jump out of gear, & that usually included the late shift lever & knob..... ..

Clooney, I was wondering if you know where I can get one of those gear shift knobs like the one on the 50-730 tractors. I need one for my 530. Thanks for the help on this and on all the other questions you answer. Denny

Denny, you can try calling your dealer & have them check the dealer network. You will need an AP-17808H knob. If there are none in the system try Greg Stephen [303-688-3151]..... .
