Thanks to Clooney I've figured out why a circle was cut into my radiator. Please tell me where to look/call/write for a friction fan for a '35 model B row crop. I'm getting my radiator recored also. I was told that I should consider replacing the square fastners for hex heads. Is this a big deal for correctness? Does anyone specialize in new square fastners? Thanks. John

If your tractor came out with rubber mounted fan, and your going to change it to friction fan I wouldn't worry about a few raditor bolts

Once I saw a NOS fan kit at a swap meet. I think it was to change from the rubber mount fan to the friction drive kind. Good luck finding one, there must be a few hiding out there somewhere.

John, on the fan parts location; your best bet is to call a local tractor scrap yard so you can drive over to see the parts. If you don't have anyone near you just have to start calling tractor parts vendors. You have easydoesit's suggestion to start with & I have usually received fair parts from Detwiler sales in Spencer Wi. [1-715-659-4252]
~On the square radiator bolts, Correct Connection [814-926-2777] has all the bolts you need. They also sell complete bolt kits for a reasonable price & I have had good luck with their bolt kits...

John, There are alot of those around and you shouldn't have much trouble finding one local...or Dave Cook has some up in Wisconsin if you have to go that far @715-373-2092. Just an opinion but I'd use the right square bolts back on the radiator..if you heat them and get them out gentle you can probably reuse most..or McMaster-carr sells them in their catalog. Or someone in your local tractor club will give you what you need. Just ask. easy

Does the fan have a rudder mount? This can be replaced with a up dated style.
