Good Morning there AWB, Although several manufacturers produce electronic switching devices to replace the mechanical contact point switches inside battery powered Delco or similar diastributors, I'm not personally familiar with any designed for use on magnetos.

For one thing, a magneto doesnt produce much excess energy (by its rotor magnet passing by the coil), while a battery powered ignition electronic system has that generator and battery to supply energy to it for opertaing a solid state switching device. In those, the simple contact switching achieved by a cam lobe opening a set of points, is replaced by a magnet passing a small coil to produce a voltage pulse (hall effect) which turns a transistor on and off to cause the coil's primary to conduct then shut off.

Most guys who want electronic ignition, therefore, convert over to a Delco distributor and install an electronic ignition system using it. The mags were designed, of course, to not require any external battery power to provide spark to the plugs.

Hope this helps, Good Luck n God Bless

AWB, I doubt it.... It would be a very hard thing to adapt a transistor switching device to a magneto due to the alternating power source, low current in the primary, & RPM variable voltage.
~I have seen a few the Wico mags converted to battery ignition using an external coil & that could probably be converted to E.I. if a proper fitting hall effect device could be rigged to trigger off the point cam lobes.
~I would imagine that if enough thought was put into it, & you are handy with a mill & electronics, that an external power supply [battery power] could be supplied to an electronic trigger unit that could in theory replace the points to work with the magneto's coil. [way more work than the gain you would ever get out of it]..
