Acording to what has been written in Two cylinder mag # 35891 was the first to wear a solid flywheel.the second( and official startof solid flywheel)was#36249. the last official d to wear a nickle hole flywheel was #38285 of course nothing is set in stone and left over inventory was used #s may vary.but slightly.

I did a little reading myself and found the same information in an old Two Cylinder magazine. I understand #35891 is owned by a collector out west it was an experimental tractor, it would certianly be a valuable addition to any collection. Thank you for the info.
Steve.

I dont really think it was experimental. I think and someone can correct that there was a problem on the assembly line and it got pulled off to side later when the problem (????) was fixed it was then shipped to san fran CA. with#36250,36251,36252,36255,36257,36258,and 36262and so it was not an old tractor or an odd duck they changed the flwheel on it

I thought it was a test of the solid flywheel and was successfull, so they shipped it with first shipment of solid flywheel tractors. Just my thoughts. I would sure like to have one of those tractors but they are quite rare.
