Does any one know who made the brush hog for Allis Chalmers WD orWD45. I am trying to find a slip cluch for it. Can a slip cluch be found for this implement?

I have a 7-ft pull type AC rotary mower. About 20 years ago the slip clutch got weak & I gerry rigged it to not slip to finish the day. To this day, I'm just always ready to kill the PTO at a half moment's notice cause the slip clutch won't slip. By the way, I'd buy a couple of these mowers if I found them in good shape. I read once (and forget)that someone made these for Allis. They are VERY good machines.

Can't believe anybody made a rotay cutter "just for" the WD45. I think you can find slip clutches at a place that has PTO shafts or at least they can order one for you. I know that AgriSupply has them for about $65. Try www daht Agri-Supply daht com.

Jerry This mower was made for Allis Chambers, it has the hook up to the snap cupler under the tractor and arms to attach to the rams. This mower can only attach to the WD or WD 45.

Allis-Chalmers did sell a rotary mower that only fit Snap-Coupler A-C tractors. I don"t remember if A-C made it, or somebody made it for them, though.

Sorry, I didn't realize they had anything other than a standard three point hitch.
