Just came across an IH 2 bottom plow.Itis 3 point hitch with trip bottoms and casting numbers are 515712R1 S-C on moldboards,515700R5 share,521165R1 tail wheel hub,523017R2 tailwheel bracket.I assume it to be a super chief type mold board with the S-C on plow but I'm not sure.It looks to have a replaceable point thats seperate from the share and moldboard any help on model or a place for parts would be great

Sounds like a model 309. Had one once; regret that I ever sold it. Mine had the razor or throw away shares & I think stubble bottoms. An easy pulling plow that would throw dirt uphill to stay. Travel too fast and it left about a 20 in open furrow. Would ripple heavy sod. 309 if 3-bottom; I think there was a 209, etc. Square beams 3-pt dinky bolt adjustment for landing adjustment. Good plow.

Those numbers fit alot of plow's.

My guess is it may be a 311 or 411.

Saw one sell on e-bay for over $100. Couldn't believe it. I still have a new pair -one left, one right -for the old 2-way for the Super C with plow chief bottoms. Hope they're still blue.

If your plow points are 2 piece (share and point are separate), I think you have Plow Chief points. Double check to see if this plow could have originally been a 2pt Fasthitch that someone cut to make a 3pt (especially if the spring runs lengthwise above and between the plow shares. BobG in VA
