Had one of those a couple years back; traded it to my neighbor who rattled off the model number at first glance. He is about 78 and knows his JD stuff. He still has the plow; I can visit him to get info; think the plow is for sale; I traded it for a pickup load of straw! Think the plow was bought new with a JD model M.( the one before the 40)

Sorry about the double post, guess I didn't read enough, "two bottom plow" would NOT be for an LA or H. Can you give a beam number? or a picture?

Pretty sparse description, I'd guess a plow for an LA, or an H or horse drawn plow. How do you know it is john Deere? how do you know it is a plow? give us a clue.

Model 810, 415 or early 415A. What catagory hitch and some part numbers off the hitch will help. Get the parts and operators manuals cheap direct from Mother Deere. 1-800-522-7448.

If it has a long straight tapered shaft, it might be for a M or MT.
