Maybe someone can help me out. My dad has a model T-6 Bradford gravity box/hay wagon running gear (6 bolt hubs) that he bought from Tractor Supply about 20 years ago or so. He broke the front spindle on it this year. Does anyone happen to know where I can find a spindle & hub for this??? New, used or even aftermark is fine. The only info I really know about, or that"s even on the running gear is this "Bradford Industries, Bradford IL, Model 6-T" and I do know like I said, Dad bought it from Tractor supply 20-25 years ago.

Thank you in advance for any and all help.

Parts are available. May take some cutting and welding. Suggest ordering catalogue from link below. Their on line is too short on detail for me. Good luck.

Got to using these folks for parts when local outlets failed to meet my parts needs. Prices right for better quality parts. And they"s only a phone call and a brown day way.

Thanks Fern(MI)

I"ll give them a try. If I could help it, my goal was to not have to cut and weld, but we"ll see what happens.

By the way, where about in MI are you?? I"m centeral East.

NE Flint by 12miles. near Ottisville. Good frost a couple days ago, another this morning, we're seeing color here. Forcast calling for rain all next week likely leaves will get washed down with out much of a good fall show.

Know what you mean about cut and weld. Had to do same with one of wagon gears. not particulary as clean as original, but it works to feed our Shorthorns. All the equipment arond here has to work. Not always pretty.

Good luck

The only reason I'm trying to stay away from cutting and welding, is because Dad takes this one down the road about 20 miles one way to the elevator.

We're closer than I thought. I live just North of Bay City, but I work in Clio.

I had another thought on spindle repair for memory up date. I think we only replaced the spindle, carefully measuring the old one to a like one in Shoups catalogue. Used original hub. Bro' welded the pieces together with a tig welder.

Youre close by, might consider my Bro welding it. And we like showing off our Shorthorns (hehehe)

We get our oil from Garner & Webster, shop TSC, Wife spends one/two days week at Sr. Center, have friends in Clio. Only eight or nine miles from our farm. E-mail me for more details, perhaps meeting/fixing, more importantly coffee and exchanging lies in person.
