The question is what type of plow is it as that is not a normal model number for a John Deere plow, is it a two way plow? The closest no. to that in a 2 bottom 12" standard plow is a no. 52 plow and the no. 55 is a 3 bottom and that is not unless for a JD M or MT a mounted plow model number.

Well if I was wearing an Oliver hat, then yep it was me. I would have picked it up my self but with the broken/welded mold boards it wasn't worth it to me.

plows aren`t worth much right now in reply to old, 10-09-2005 17:46:22
Plow market is very soft in my region. The guys that use newer, bigger plows who are going to keep farming are switching to no-till to save fuel. The guys that buy the older, smaller plows tend to be recreational tillagists or small-plot-specialty growers. With the cost of fuel, the recreational tillagists are staying parked in the shed this year, and without much competition at the auctions, the small-plot guys can be choosy about what they buy.
