Am putting my own anhydrous down for the 1st time this fall. Would like to match up with planter and make strips to plant into next spring.

Do you guys think a JD 4630 (150hp) will pull a 12 row applicator? Medium soils-mostly flat-some gently rolling.

Thanks

Paul

we pulled a 13knife one for many years with our 4630 (it was dynoed several times at 175)
and we like to knife in as deep as possible..(read that as subsoil with it)

I would caution you around here we try not to plant right over anhydrus knifed in as it can kill germination if conditions are right --- I do know that in the fall its better but can be deadly in the spring.

My 135-40 hp tractor with duals pulls a 9 bar applicator. I'm in real hard pulling clay soils. You will probably do ok.
