IH 37 baler and #10 thrower

Hello all, Anyone use a 37 baler or 10 thrower, I just picked one up at a sale, are they any good? weak points? I used a NH 316 and 75 pan thrower for number of years but never used a belt thrower. Is the thrower supposed to have wide flat belts on it for the bales or is it just the rollers that the bales ride on? I do not have manuals for it yet. Thanks Guys,Jim

Used to have that thrower on a 46 baler, worked good and only the rollers, no belts

Thanks guys, I unrolled a round bale and ran it thru it last night, never missed a beat. When I got to looking at it closer i could see the rollers were worn where the twine contacts them. Just need to getthe adjustments all figured out. Thanks, Jim

Only rollers on that thrower, no belts. I have one on a 440 and works well. I also have a 37 baler. Not a big capacity machine but does the job. If you got a good one you will do ok. Mine has some quirks that took a year to learn. VERY fussy on type of twine and adjustments. if you find twine that works stick with it.

I have IH Parts Manual for "37 Baler - Twine and Wire - Serial Number 501G and up" It is 68 pages long with very good exploded views. It also covers the Model 47 Baler. Email me if you are interested.
