I have posted this before, but can't find the postings now. I will be needing a rebuildable grain/bean head for a massey harris 60 pt (says clipper 60 on name tag) combine. The rest of the combine appears to be in decent shape (at least fixable (mainly dents). This is my grandpa's old combine and I would like to get it working again. The header is bent beyond repair where the owners of the land pushed it into a fence row with a loader tractor. I would also be interested in a corn head if anyone has one. I was told a head from a 60 sp might fit on this and since they had corn heads available ..... I am almost done with my truck restoration so I am about ready to start on this.
Thanks for any help

Would you check that tag again? The Clipper 50 (Five-0) was a 6 or 7' canvas platform machine and at one time supposedly they made a corn head for it, finding one would be like finding hens teeth in a chicken. Now the 60 SP was an 8 or 10' auger machine while the 60 PT was just an 8' auger machine. I don't know if any corn heads were made for that machine, The 60 was replaced with the 72 and I know there was a corn head made for the 72 SP but I dought if it would have fit the 72 PT as the heads of the 60 & 72 pullltype were offset feeder while the SP version were a centered feeder house. The Clipper 50 was just a newer version of the first Clipper that did not have a number so an older Clipper head would probably work but not a head from a Clipper Selfpropelled combine like I had.
