Opinions please NH 273 for $2750 or JD 24T on auction I have 20 acres of hay right now I have it costom baled gonna try to do it myself and am starting to get the collection af haying equip together worked the wagon behind JD 14 T but that was long ago wondering what value of 24T would be Thanks

JD 24T? Absolutely less than $1000 in Michigan. I have two 224T balers around here and I barely have more than $1000 into the pair. One is in excellent condition, complete and running and the other is in good condition, missing a couple of parts and should work fine when I get one part replaced and adjusted. This is a good baler to consider for the price. You should try to get up to a presale viewing period and pigeon hole the owner and get the lo-down. Right now it should go pretty reasonable. In a few months the farm auctions here in Michigan will get pretty hot and the baler will fetch more in my experience. Good luck!

Wally, here in south central Missouri those things are usually in the 1000 - 1200 dollar range if its in resonable condition. Personally I wouldn't have the 24T but thats my opinion. Good luck....

If you can buy 24T's for a few hundred bucks, you should buy plenty of them up and bring them to Illinois. Friend just bought one which was in very good condition at a sale, and paid nearly $1500.
