There used to be a lot of those drills around here at one time. Just don't go too fast and then raise it at a corner or the end of a field as the weight of the drill WILL affect your steering. More than a few guys went touring into a fence with them.
Also raising them when going too fast will keep the drive going through inertia and you'll spread a bunch of seed and fertilizer on top of the ground.

Well now, yours is the second one I"ve seen. Wengers, a used machinery dealer in Pennsylvania, had one on their lot earlier this year. Salesman was making a big point of how rare it was. Looks like a good setup for small, odd-shaped fields. Just remember that tail wheel is there when backing up to a fence!

Thanks - can't say as I've ever seen one of those. Seen IH drills, but don't remeber a trailer wheel on anything (other than a bush hog or old mower) Looks like it 'oughta be a good'n.
Did you look for a manual?

I take some of that back - there are trailer wheels on Case/IH 150 drills...
