I bought a wagon that has a tag on it that says "Tri?? Wheel Co., Quincy IL". Can someone in that area tell me the correct name of the company and if they are still in business? Thanks.

I also have an Electric Wheel hydraulic barge wagon that has a neat "Electric" on the galvanized sides. Running gear is John Deere and is so marked (and it's green!). It's very handy since I adapted the tailgate to work like a dump truck. In addition to traditional wagon duties, I go get 4-5 tons of gravel and tailgate my nearly half-mile long road when it needs it.

Electric Wheel, Co. manufactured wagons for several companies. I have an International Harvester and a Massey Ferguson wagon that were both manufactured by Electric Wheel.

It's an "Electric Wheel"...later Firestone plant and today, its a "Tital Wheel" plant. A large employer in Quincy, but don't make wagons anymore, still make lots of wheels and tires..Cmore
