Have 1855 Oliver and just tried hooking up the new toplink I bought. Can anyone go through an easy routine for setting the mower up right? I have a BMB flail mower and it has a cresent slot for the toplink. Do I need to tighten the toplink with the lift arms up or down? Tried it a little tonight and got it setup to where the toplink was fighting against the lift arm action; thats not right. Adjusted it and got the front of the mower to come up and down and I don't think that is right. Thought I might be starting to bind shaft. Can someone set this former cityboy straight on the procedure????

Thanks!

Are there any other settings for how high or low the link is mounted on the tractor? You might want to set it for the lowest if there is one. Then turn the buckle so that the mower is level one the ground along with the tractor.

That did the trick! Thank You! Lowest hole works great. I turned the buckle until the mower end of the toplink was centered in the cresent shape grove of the mower. Mover lifts up and down perfectly now.
