Hello, I know this is a little off topic, but there are people on this site who are cattle people. My question, where is the best and the lowest cost place buy freeze branding irons? or does someone, or know someone that has a set that they would like to sell reasonable. I need A-Z.

Thanks Larry

Hello, Thanks to all who responded, I ordered the irons from Jeffers today. They were the lowest priced irons, including shipping, of the vendors I contacted.

Thanks Larry U.

Are freeze branding irons different than hot? I would think the hot type would work if cold. No one here in the east brands (except the weirdos in town) so I have no clue.

They can be. If using liquid N cast iron will work. For dry ice and alcohol aluminum chills faster and works better (also works for liquid N).

Mix a little alcohol with the dry ice. Now you are talking cold.
