gf5001 tedder information wanted

I am looking at a gf5001 tedder with "digi" fingers. It is a manual fold instead of hydralic. Anyone have experience with this machine, my current Kuhn 440 is some tired and I need to trade up.

they are the same except one folds back the other hydraulic fold. the didge drive works well less problems than the old 440 duck bill. you and i are in the same boat watch ebay there is a deere on there made by kuhn so is new holland. you got to admit the old 440 was a great machine they still make it with a lot of up grades.

Fairview, I to need to upgrade tedders but the hydraulic fold is simple hydraulics might get away with single acting cylinders. it rotates in to keep the weight centered. I personaly like the fold back. around here they sell for about $1500 used new is $5400 I have spent alot of time reserching it also kuhn make john deer and new holland tedders, there is other makes (sitrex and enrossi) but we don't feel they are as good. my old 440 turned many thousand bales this year. I also have a kuhn tedder rake as a back up. nice machine.
