Does any body know if they where set up in any other way then as a trailor type mower. The one I have looks like it could also be set up as a 3 point hook up. Also any place to find pictures of some of the older NH equipment??
Thanks

Hey Old,
I've got a 45 46 47 you can take a look at if you go to the Tractor Photo section on the right.
it will be labeled H with 45 46 47 New Holland mower.

I'm thinking about make the 45 46 47 I have in to a 3 point set up. Stopped at a NH dealer yesterday and looked at a parts picture and saw how most of it was set up and think it can be done easy. I just want it for mowing pond banks and along the road side. And also for a back up for my 460NH moco.

The 45 was a fully mounted mower. The 46 was a fully trailing model with two four hole 15 inch wheels and a typical clevis style hitch.
The 47 was a semi mount with an 8 inch rear castor wheel. We had one of these. The hitch bar pivoted verticaly on the front of the main frame and had varoius holes in it. The tractor's swinging drawbar was swung to the right and pinned; the hitch bar bolted to the rear hole in the drawbar. Another plate bolted to the tractor drawbar support at the far left and to the mower's hitch bar. Slots in this plate provided length adjustment. Sorry, no pictures. There is good info in the NH parts database if you punch in the individual model numbers and look for the various hitch styles.
