Joe did a good job of discribing the different models. If you want a wide pick up go for a 346, 337,347,338,348. I run a 328/w kicker, baled 8000 so far this yr. Good luck, don't get one that's wore out.

The series are 32X, 33X, 34X.

The 326,336,346 are older than 327,337,347. The 328,338,348 are the most current models.

The 34X series is for your custom baler. More strokes, more pickup teeth, bigger pickup. Meant for the high capacity custom baler.

33X series is middle of the road and good standard baler.

the 32X series, I have a 327, is good and almost like the 33X series except might have less pickup teeth ot more narrow pickup, I can't remember which.

Personally there isn't a whole lot of difference between the 32X and 33X series in my opinion. (I am a novice so I could get corrected).

My 327 gives me a bale every 20 seconds without working it too hard.(any faster and I couldn't get it stacked) I will be doing 2500 - 3000 bales a year with mine. This year I am only at 1000 for the year(hay and straw) and has performed great.
