day and liked ow compact it was; I have limited storage space. Good rep for this machine?

If it's in reasonable shape and the price is fair, buy it. I have two balers, both 224T's which is pretty much what you are looking at with a few differences. These are great little balers and make a nice bale. I find that a real heavy windrow will tend to make for the occasional funky looking bale so prefer to keep my windrows more medium sized. It does a good job on first cutting but because of the variability in the hay growth on first cutting I will get a more inconsistent bale. Second cutting hay is all the same length and the bales look like a cookie cutter made them. For what I paid you are not likely to hear me complaining. I can recommend these balers.

I had one and for it's age it was in great shape and did a good job for a small operation.

Hi , I don't have a 24t but I do have two of the older 14t's . This is my first year doing hay . I bought what looked like a good baler then one that didn't look so good came along so I bought it for a parts baler . I tried baling with the parts baler to see what worked and what didn't before taking it apart to use as parts . I'm still baling with it ! Never have used the " good " baler ! It's only missed twice out of 600 bales , once was because I didn't know how to tie the twine to change rolls and it slipped and once because the measuring wheel came loose , that wasn't really a missed tie but it did make a couple 10-13' long bales ! I gotta admit that the first 20 or so bales came out tied but exploded when I went to pick them up . That was because the bales were WAY to tight and heavy , my fault not the balers . My opinion of them is I'd like to have one but around here I can get two or three and maybe more 14t's for the price of one 24t or 224t . Good luck ...Randy
