Mornin" Randy. Unfortanately, what I know most about is farming, and I don"t know a whole lot about it. I just read a lot, and think even more. One thing with the smaller disk, it will allow you to go 1, maybe 2 gears faster. So instead of 2nd Direct, you might be able to go in 3rd Over, maybe even 4th Under. Only one way to find out. I thought about finding some duals too, but for five acres of plowing and disking, doesn"t seem worth it. I have some stuff to work on on my tractor too. I have a few seals that I need to replace, adding fluids will get old. And work on my lights, fix my new sickle mower, etc. Allways something to take my money. I"m happy I decided to buy a diesel instead of a gasser. Road diesel is the same price as Reg. unleaded around here. Ethonal is cheaper, but not by much. I hope the plow works too. My tires are weather checked and about 50% tread, hope they hold up. I"m going to be plowing under a 5-6 year old hay field in clay soil. It"ll be a good work out. The disk is a 14" IH 37. I can still see the decal, only a couple disks are broken. Now, the bearings I don"t know about, wait and see on those. This disk has adjustment for angle on both front and rear gangs. Hoping to be getting them both soon. Later, Rich
