And is there any place/parts that go bad faster then others. I picked one up today and I know it need some TLC and want to know what to look at to make sure it will not be a pain in the A$$ after I start useing it.

We had one for years. Mowed more brush/borders than it ever did hay. I don't think they were any worse than any other pitman stick style mower, and better than quite a few. NH has a better track record on hay tools than most..... ...

Well that is what I plan to use it for, mowing along the road and other places that I want to keep down that would be hard to do with a brush hog. Its going to need a few parts but for $150 I figure I couldn't go wrong. I hope LOL
