When coming to the end of the field and lifting the mower with the 3pt hitch the bar does not raise high enough and gathers the hay i have already cut. I need to know if there is a piece on the mower that raises the bar and I could be missing this piece and also where could i find a manual. Do you have a picture of the complete mower.

C.C. I've got a Dearborn modle 14-15 mower made by Det-H,and it has a spring and cable on it to lift the bar at the end of the cut.I can take a closeup pic.of it to let U C if it's the same. It's a 3pt.6' cut.

I would just take me a while to find things but I do have both an operators and a parts manual an an orignal sales sheat for that mower. Some of them carry the Dearborn Dame and some the Ferguson dame as they were identical except for the Second tag and paint color, I have made several copies for people a my cost and mailed them to them. Ford has no idea they ever handled that mower with no books or parts avaible. I have never mounted any of mine so I can't help you from experiance. That mower was also sold by case with slight modifications for mounting for the VAC under the Case-Detroit name.
