Hi All; I was needing some help idenifing a walk behind garden tractor I have. I wish I could post a picture on this sight but I can't. Is there a place I can look up a modle number for old Sears & Roebuck impelments? This is a walk behind tractor modle #917.57560, S/N 171. I need to find a set of rims and tires for it. It has a mold bord plow and other things with it. I'd like to get it runing and use it next year. Well thanks for any help in finding out where to start.

Most of the early ( pre 1960 ) units came with three bolt wheels - spaced on a 5 hole pattern but with only 3 holes in the rim to keep the wheels from being used on wagon gears as the wheels were lighter and wouldn't take a wagons weight. The later ones used only 3 bolts of the 5 on the heavier wagon gear wheels. I might have a pair or 3 bolt wheels in the shed. If you need them send me an email and I will look.

It would be earlier than that, in the catalogs from 1955 up it shows the 15" wagon wheels and the tractors were no longer in the catalog in 1960, the 3 bolt wheels would be 16"

I just got rid of a David Bradley like that . It had a cultivator, plow, and blade. It came with a Wisconsin 8 H.P. with a mag and still ran very well. Since it had a Wisconsin engine it did not have the aero-hood. I sold it for $50 and was glad to see the fella take it away with a big smile on his face.

I have a set of rims with tires that I think came from a David-Bradley. If you think they might work we can work something out. Not sure I have any pics but I can get some.

VanO, send me an e-mail. I'll get some pictures and send them back to you. The rims are excellent, tires are the original knobby tread design but are somewhat dry-rotted and cracked, might be OK, might not.

Not sure of the model, I also have a plow, cultivator and sickle mower for it. It also has the original engine on it that was running a couple years ago. Its missing the hood. I'd want around $200 for it and the implaments. I also have a gravly walk behind.

That sounds like an old David bradley. Sears sold them in the 50 and early 60s.
