I'm looking for a ball park price on a 10' transport disc. I was told it was origionally a 3 pt hitch but it was taken off and they have the parts to convert it.The disc was practically brand new 10 years ago and has also been left outside all that time.I believe it is a JD but not sure.A real heavy disc but he wants $2800 for everything and i have to weld it together(axle to make it a transport).I live in NW NJ and can't find any answers over here. Thanks

It must be this part of the north east.In that corner of NY,NJ & PA people must be crazy with prices. Might be worth a trip out to the midwest to get a decent price.Not here in NJ. Thanks for the info.

Wow. I thought maybe a typo & you had one too many '0's on that price. I'm from the mid-west too. For something that needs welding, $280 would be about right. Here.

400-800 central ohio, complete and working condition/ 800 is like new less than 1/2 inch wear on disks, all scrappers there and not worn, all bearings good and good paint. 400 2-4 inches worn off of front disks, bearings good, paint or rust, 90% scrappers there, ready to work in field.

LAst spring, all of them you wanted at local sales, for under $1000. I got a good 14' with new tires for $700 and thought I paid a little too much.

Rudy,

I will not say that your friends disk is not worth the asking price but I will tell you that is MUST be a special disk with powers beyond my disks that just perform standard chores like cutting land..... .
