Ferguson pitman mower--changing belts question

I have a Fergy sickle bar mower (I don't know the specific model, other than it being a 3 point mount Pitman). It needs new belts. This is the first time it has needed belts since my late father bought it about 15 years ago. I took the broken belt to the dealer and in exchange for $$ gave me two belts he said would fit. Now I look at the mower and I can't figure out how to change the belts without doing a major dissection of the mower. It seems the two pullys are on either side of part of the harp that supports the sickle. Is there some trick to changing the belts without basically taking the whole mower apart?

If its a model 32 mower after slacking off belt tension remove belts from the pullies and slide them along the pitman stick, open the pitman latch and pull them thru the mounting casting towards the cutterbar.
