I found a New Holland Sicklebar Mower in a field marked Model # 45 46 47 if I remember correctly. What will this fit?
Thanks to anyone who can tell me. It definately looks too big for my Allis B

It is one of three models (45, 46, or 47)depending on hitch type. 3pt, bolted to drawbar(semi-mount), or full trailer. Most had a 7 foot bar. Full trailer model or semi mount will fit just about any tractor if you have all the bracketry. The 3pt model obviously requires a tractor with 3pt hitch. I would think an Allis B would handle a 7 foot sickle unless the B is really tired.

Thanks, I contacted a fellow in the Antique Tractor Club here too and he told me from my description it was a trailer mower. He also said it would be worth pulling out of the graveyard and trying to restore it for use or show. I appreciate your help, the thing is so covered in grass it was near impossible to uncover it , but it is all there and the bar is free and the teeth are all there and in good shape. The grass seemed to preserve the trailer best though. A good sanding and painting and I guess I found a mower.
