I would like to find a no-till drill to rent. I am in upstate NY. I want to try and reseed 10 acres and do it no-till. My hay market is grass horse hay with little or no alfalfa. The hay lot is now grass, some alfalfa and weeds. I want to get rid of the weeds and improve the grasses.

Also, in addition to the ones mentioned the larger contractors rental places sometimes have them.

Try your county USDA NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service). My county and the surrounding counties here in Ks have them for rent and ask about $6 an acre.

Start by checking with your county extention office.A lot of times they own and rent them. Also try any "larger" equipment dealers in the area. There's a good market for renting no-till pasture drills, so I'd about bet SOMEONE close to you has one...
