I recently bought an old Oliver 2-row corn planter for $25. Its in useable condition, but I need a few odds and ends to restore it. I'd also like to find a manual for this thing so that I know what gears to use for what and how everything is supposed to operate. I have some casting numbers. The seed plate marked "large" has the number S-368. The small plate is S-366. Some of the parts in the seed hoppers are marked S-26, S-24, S-19. The furrow opener, (or whatever it's called), is S-355. The planter was horse drawn and then converted to tractor power. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

I can't help Identify your planter, but I can tell you where you can get manuals from it. Try your friendly local AGCO dealer. Oliver and later White Farm Equipment were famous for their planters and plows.
