Hi , I have a need for one of these . Does anyone have one that they don't need anymore ? I can get one from the dealer but OUCH ! , I don't happen to have a firstborn child to give them ! I've tried a couple manual suppliers with no success . Thanks ....Randy

After some looking I found one on ebay--it was a book (MR-5, "Mowers") that had parts catalogs for several pieces of IH haying equipment and included a section for the 990. Depends on how fast you need it if you can try to get one that way. Hope this helps.

Hi Kerwin , I haven't tried Ebay yet . On my computer that site takes forever to load one page and I don't always have the time . Besides , trying to find anything there isn't easy . I guess I don't know what words to use in the search to narrow things down . But Thanks for the suggestion ! ...Randy

BTW ; What was that alpha-numeric for ? ( mr-5 )

Randy, the "MR-5" is the IH parts catalog number. The front of mine says "MR-5" with "Mowers" being the book title.

I think when I was doing a search for it on ebay, I would search on "MR-5" occassionally, as well as "Ih Parts manual", "international parts catalog", etc.) You have to be creative, as people who list the stuff are often creative in how they name it! I think there is some way now that you can post what you are looking for, but I've not tried it.

I know what you mean about slow, I'm on a dial-up connection out here that can take quite a while to show a page.
