I used a set of these 25 years ago and they done a great job and yesterday I bought a set at an auction that needs paint , but seem to be in perfect shape. Now the question, they came with 4 extra gangs of small tines. there is no marks on the tool bar to show where they were mounted . I checked lilliston site and they don't show this attatcment either. anyone know where they go and what there for???? thanks, mike

Hi Mike,

Those little guys are the "close tines" for working directly over the row in certain crops and mount in between the bigger round tool bars.

Their carriers center on the row.

thanks, I thought they might go there, looks like they have never been used. Mine has shields and looks like they would have to come off to hang the close tines. mine dosen't have the top beam like yours, is that to mount a tank or some other option? the lilliston web site said they had many options . I got mine for $60 and sure glad I went to that auction. thanks for the pics and the help ,,mike
