I saw somewhere that there is type of sisal baler twine that is about 7,200 ft. per bale or there abouts. Does anyone know about this? Where is it sold? I am in Central KY(not exactly Heaven but close). I am hoping maybe it is sold somewhere around here. Maybe in OHIO or INDIANA. I can't find good consistent 9,000 ft. any more and don't like plastic. I was thinkiong maybe the 7,000 may be like the old 9,000 that you used to get from NEW HOLLAND. Remember how good that was? Thanks for helping.

Yea, your right the twine is getting worse all the time.I try to get the gold 9000 twine,it to me seames to be the better of the two.The green I can break it when I tie the knot to change bales, and seames to pull out at the knot,or break somewhere in the bale. The gold seames to me to be more constant in size,or not think or thin.I get mine at Sugar Run Mill in Pomeroy Oh. It's about $29.90 a bale.

Around here all the small square baler twine is either 7200 or 9000 feet, round bale twine is 16000 feet per ball. 7200 is fewer feet because it is thicker and stronger. Always bought that. Just check with other suppliers.
