NI pull type mower ID and Tire size

I bought a New Idea pull type sickle bar mower. Where is the model number located and what size tires should be on it? This is a work in progress and i need to try and find a manual. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Nobody responds, so I'll jump in. We sold New Idea from our AC dealership years ago. They all had the wood pitman stick and were models 30, 30A, & 30B. If it was a hydraulic lift model, an H is tacked onto the model. As best I recall, the 30B had 15" tires, the older ones had 16". You either put used car tires on or bought new implement groove tires with it. My 30B has a ID plate riveted on top of the axle. I can't find any ID on my 30A. Differences are minor, most parts interchange. The 30B has a newer style PTO shaft with the tube guard on bearings while the 30A has a separate sheet metal guard which connects to the tractor PTO guard. The 30A also has a tool box built into the main casting which the 30B has not. I have the owners operators & parts manual for the 30B. Write back if I can help you otherwise.
