Made 990 bales so far, and have finished the tame hay. Started the wild hay yesterday. We can only do the ridges since it is so wet, but with a bit of luck we can go back in a couple of weeks and clean up the sloughs.

Had a breakdown on the 664. Inner cam plate on the pickup wore through, dropped all the cam rollers down inside and bent the arms on the tooth mount tubes. Not hard to fix, but a LOT of work. Found out the hard way New Holland changed the inner AND outer cam plates. Took an additional 150 miles of driving to get the outer plate after we got the new inner plate home and looked at it. Working fine now.

Re-visisted the Hesston 1014. Found some problems in the cutter bar and it worked OK after that. Still needs some work, but I think I will buy it from the neighbor. Sounds like he wants to trade some low quality feed;/bedding for it. Not a problem by me.

Glad you are moving right along. With the numerous showers we have enjoyed in July (of all months) looks like we will get another cutting....sorely needed as we are shy for the year due to the drought.
