Well, this weekend, barring any foul weather will be my last field to bale. Hopefully it will go the opposite of what has happened up to now. I think this has been the worst year I have had between equipment breakdown and weather problems. Out of three feilds which I should have a minimum of 700-1000 bales I have brought in less than 100 and some of them are not the best. Hope noone is having my kind of luck. Thanks to all for the info and help in the past and also in the future.

You gotta have faith and look to next year. I should have brought in 1500 bales, but due to breakdown of my NH stack wagon, only got in 600, with the rest out in the field yet. One thing I learned this year was that the weather man has a great job. He gets paid in full if he is wrong or right, so I guess he does not give a damn.

Your biggest mistake was relying on the weatherman at all. You gots to look at the maps and make up your own mind. Don't pay no mind to the guy in the pretty suit with the manicure. He only knows if the AC is working or not.

I thought I had one field left until last night when a guy called and ask if I had his hey yet..... last year he didnt take hay I had for him.. and he never ask this year.. NOW HE WANTS hay... GEE I wish these people would make up their minds and let me know whats going on.
