Ford 504-1 Baler

I have a Ford 504-1 Baler that about every two or so bales it doesn't cut or pull the knot off. I was wondering if anybody has a manual that I could buy or get a couple of scans. Thanks

I think that the bottom of my twine go a little wet in a rain storm. I was wondering if the twine will ever get it's strength back or will it stay weak. I think this because every third bale or so the twine just tears.

If you will look on eBay you will find manuals for the Ford 250 model baler. The 504 series is the same as the 250. ErrinOH is the guru on those particular models. Generically if the knot is not getting wiped off the billhook then the billhook tongue pressure is too great or the knife arm needs readjusting. Need to understand better your problem to help any more
