Anybody got a source for #6 (13/64) rivets? I've got an IH Model 21 mower, and a guy found me some at the same time he ordered me some sickle sections. I could use more of those, but what I'm really needing are the longer ones that reach through the sickle, spacer, section and head. I can find 3/8 all over the place and tried them, but they aren't cutting it (pardonnez le pun!). Vendor and part no. would be really helpful if you have them.

Try Webb's Sickle Service @ 1-800-578-1480. They are in NE and sure beat the price my dealer was asking for a sickle head-$100 less! They have complete sickles and all the parts that go with. Howard

Have you tried your CNH dealer?

What length do you need?

A Deere part number for sickle head rivets is E46823, @ $.38 each.

They are .205" in diameter, and .81" long.

The CIH/CNH dealer couldn't cross the old part no. (a rare occurrence for my counter guy -- he wasn't happy). I'm away from my parts book just now so I can't be sure about the length, but the .205 would be right.

$.38 for a rivet. That's a tad precious. Might have to limit my quantity and make 'em count 'em out. You can bet I'll verify the tabulation!

But . . . gotta have 'em. 8^(

Hi I was looking for #6 rivets at 1-1/4 " long for the ledger plates on my Oliver 415 but couldn't find them anywhere . Generic guards didn't seem to fit well . Still using the old worn out guards and ledger plates but it cut's good to 6 mph ! Oh well ...Randy
