Depends on where your at..... .....Alot of Uni"s still at work around me. IMO, you can"t beat them on a diversified farmstead..... ..They can do everything(Combine, chop, pick ear corn, snowblow)

Does anyone have a picture of one of these? Is it a combine? I am looking for a cheap combine... Where is it located?

What model do you have for the power unit. What modules do you have and what heads. These make a difference as does where you are. I use uni's as I can sell ear corn to cattle feeders. Not everyone can do that anymore and for small fields that works well.

What size/ model is it? And where abouts are you?

People want them, the trouble is you & they might not be near each other, and trucking costs too much these days....

Yep, I know a guy in the same boat. The uni is long gone but the combine #717, cutter head and snow blower #782 are all still here. Farmer who purchased the Uni took the corn head and well...what to do with the rest...

Snow blowers are rarer & in demand - & compact enough to ship.

He should be able to move that if he advertises in the northern section of the USA. Wouldn't want to cut that one up.

What does a Uni with a snowblower look like. I have never seen one. I know of a farm that has 3 Uni-Systems sitting around. I don't know if any of them work or not.

Used to run one of these in the 70's on a farm in western Pa. Put a three row corn head chopper on it..... ..... way under powered. Always wondered why the power unit couldn't be adapted to a small small square baler to make a self propelled baler?

There was at one time a Uni-Baler. Minneapolis-Moline had one when the Uni-System was theirs. I"m not certain if New Idea made one or not after they assumed the Uni-System. New Idea did adapt their Cut-Ditioner flail machine to the front of the Uni-Tractor so that you could cut hay, and it could also be used with the Uni-Forager to cut green-chop or collect corn stalks for bedding.

Thanks for the numbers! I'll have to tell him to do some advertising, the sad part about the snow blower is it only has about 3 hours on it.... bought it back in the late 70's when the snow was big. Well it turned out to be the last big snow fall. Combine and head have been inside but the blower has been outside.

Joe,

I may know someone who is interested in the uni equipment. Shoot me an email and I will contact you. Not sure where you are in Pa but he might not be that far away.
