Fired up our new (for us) Lely tedder/rake tonight and tedded one of our fields. It was a revelation. Wish I knew for sure I was doing it right. Anyone use one of these? I'm not sure what model it is. Someone on here said it sounded like their Lotus 300 model. It is pretty old I'm sure, but seems to work real well. Any helpful hints for tedding and raking with one would be greatfully appreciated. I'm using it behind a fergy TEA20 tractor. Thanks.

Great site. Do you have the operator's manuals on line somewhere also? Would really help a novice to this "modern" hay equipment. When I moved back home the only rake on the place was the old buck rake. The 1930 something Case side discharge was a real modernization step. Thanks.
