Im looking for a new idea pull behind sickle mower to buy somewhere close to south dakota....I was wondering how much i can expect to pay for one...a buddy of mine says he has seen them sell anywhere from $25 - $150 on auctions?? Is that a normal price....What are the model numbers for the new idea mowers???

Happened across this one on Ebay (#7530489967). At $25 now, might be right price for a drive to Lincoln, NE. Pictures are worthless, you think he could've pulled it 5 feet to get it out of the grass before taking them.

A JD 37 (pull-type) sold here a few months with a black JD cyl. sold for $65!!!! Why wasn't I at that sale????? ??? Ready to go and had been inside most of its life. EC IN. Oh well.

I saw on sell yesterday good shape, shedded not used in two years or more, needed some very minor work. $140...Jim

They're always dirt cheap UNTIL YOU WANNA BUY ONE.....

I saw one sell a few weeks ago for $300 in fair shape. I tried to buy one last summer. It was priced at $600. That one was in like new condition. (Was even "in the field being used" when I went to see it)

I've seen 'em in need of some repairs sell at auctions for little or nothing...

I saw a 9ft green one go for $1000 last summer.

Most go for 50 - 175 that I have seen in northwest central Indiana....

I picked one up a week ago for free. Had been sitting for years and needed tires some teeth and fluid changing. There is a tractor shop near me that has two and he wanted three and four hundred for his. I thought that was to high. I would only pay up to 200 and that being in nice shape. Thats my personal opinion. Its up to you how bad you want one. Finding one is the hard part.
