I used to have a large format book that had a lot of European equipment in it. They had BCS type tillers, sort of like our Gravelys, that had balers, binders, a small combine, mowers of course, just all sorts of attachments. I guess over there in some places a farm in 2-3 acres and the equipment makes sense.

Next time you see a TV show, movie, magazine picture, etc, that shows Switzerland, take note of how neatly mowed all the grass is, even on the steep mountainsides and along the railroads and highways. The need to harvest every bit of hay they can get for their animals, and these implements let them crawl all over the steep places where a tractor can"t go and get it.

I've seen the little wheel rakes for lawns, now the little baler. Now I can have an excuse for not mowing my lawn, I'm actually waiting to bale it! Just kidding, although I do get accused of letting it go that long. Neat baler.

Do you suppose it would bale tree leaves?We usually get about 150 big trash bags filled with leaves.A man could make a nice living here with that thing in the fall.

Allan probably knows some people willing to pay that price! That looks like a lot of walking to me. Actually I have a place I could bale with it now. The gate is too small to get a real baler into that field. It's not worth $7K to me though!

That is a neat rig and I can see places there would be a need for it. Even though that price is about what I have in my 55Hp tractor and 4x5 round baler.

I have a neighbor that used a grass catcher on his yawn mower then put the grass in trash bags and sealed them. Fed it to his cattle came winter.
