I know a guy that would run across a few windrows till he got the bale started rolling.

Zig Zag alot for till the bale starts to roll and then once it get's going just swerve when the belts start to get too far one way or the other.

The 504C is a closed throat baler. It will not bale hay above 20% moisture. If you would like some pointers for proper adjustment & operation call 423-282-6969 ask for Billy Lee Carter he can help you. He has experience on hundreds of these Vermeer C balers and can make them bale hay.
