I just bought what I thought was an old one-bottom plow. After a little research turns out it is a Ferguson two-bottom with the "J" shaped frame for the front plow broken off. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement for this "J" frame?

Thanks

Does the tag say Ferguson-Sherman Dearborn MI and do the u-bolts for the hitch go though the beam (J-frame) or does the tag say Ferguson (Harry Ferguson) Detroit MI and the u-bolts for the hitch go on the outside of the beam? Do you have the bottom that would bolt onto the second beam?

The tag says Harry Ferguson Detroit, MI and the u-bolts for the hitch are on the outside of the beam. I have the bottom that is bolted to the rear beam, but I don"t have the bottom that would bolt to the front beam. That"s why at first glance I thought that it was a one-bottom. That and the fact that I don"t know very much about plows! Here is a link to a Ferguson plow on eBay that looks the same as the one I have >Link

Thanks for your response.

I do not know of anyone that has that beam, if you need a beam, coulters and a bottom it will get very expensive, the wearing parts on the bottoms and coulter discs and bearings are available new but the other items will have to be found used, if you need a 2 bottom maybe you will find a complete plow to buy.
