I wish to purchase this sickle from a retired farmer. The sickle has been sitting outside for 2-3 years. What is a resonable price to purchase? How much can it cost to restore cutter to be useable? I believe all pieces are present except for spring release bracket for right axle. Any information and experiences are appretiated

They are not worth much, you use the common stabilizer brackets under the tractor rear axles, the spring release goes on the right and a stabilizer bar goes on the left, there is a special bracket on the right fender bolt for a chain to hook in but it can be made easily, a manual is needed to hook it up in the correct order or it will take a long time to figure out, keep checking Ebay auctions for a manual.
