Anyone know Lely haying equipment? Just got a tedder rake that is suppose to be a lely, but no name/plate/numbers/etc. on it. It has steel wheels, two spools (with 8 tines per spool) and a windrower that folds up over the middle of it. Guy I got it from said his son got it at an auction a long time ago and they had used it every year up until last season when got something newer. Would sure like to know what it is so could try and track down a book on it. Any help would be appreciated. Stan

Wow! Thought I'd found the Operator's manual on line at a place called Tripple H equipment..... But, their operator manual link was the same as their parts manual link. Would one of the other manuals they have on-line be close enough to give me the general ideas. One like the heyley 420 manual or the combi 600 manual? Thanks.

Great site! Thanks for the help... Now I know what I have, (and thanks to MF231 that it is like a Vermeer TR90 without the pipes around the front), will try and locate an operator's manual for it. My rake has been a 1930's vintage steel wheeled Case side discharge, so this is NEW for me. Want to have some idea what I'm doing if it ever stops raining and we get to make some hay here on the left coast. Thanks again.

Sounds like the machine i bought this spring new, mine is a Lely Lotus 300 Combi, its exactly like what u describe. Its also the same as vermeers TR-90 rake/tedder. I love the machine teds and rakes wonderfully. Only thing i dont like is the wheels dont pivot, it has a pivoting headstock though. check out vermeers site Link
