Found a running gear very similar to the JD 952 except it doesn't have the round tube running down the center, it has 6 or 8 inch u channel on edge running between both axels near the outer edge. It's very solid and in very good shape.
Is this origanal or has this been altered ?
What might this be worth ?

Thanks for any help, B-Hunter31

I forgot to mention that it has one leaf spring(front and back) that run paralelle to the axel.
It's very close to a 952 or 953

Thanks

John Deere never made a wagon without a coupling pole and the frame on the side, only IHC so if it has a JD axle then it is a modified unit

IHC, McCormick is the company that made the wagons wike that, I believe they made a couple of different models with the frame instead of the coupling pole

I have seen those running gears, in fact I owned quite a few years ago. I can't tell you what brand it is, but I'm pretty sure it is not John Deere.I never had any trouble with the one I owned, and recently I have seen a few at various farm auctions. All of them appeared to be in good shape with the exception of the tires. I would think that the running gear would work OK for you. The prices I have seen are all over the board, so I really hesitate to give any recommendations.
