Loose NH68 baler pick-up?

My model 68 baler's pick up is not "solid" when it is in the travel position. You can grab the guard bar and pick/push the assembly up and down several inches. When dragging the baler down the road the pick-up will "bounce", even though it is locked up in the travel (up) position. The pinned left side stays fixed, it's the right side that floats. I checked the pick-up spring tension and it seems ok. What has me wondering is the pick-up on my NH67 does not "bounce" or float like the one on the 68. It stays solid regardless if its up or down.

Is this normal?

Sure Rex, I suspect the spring is not as tight on your 67, therefore it seems more solid. Steve
