In a McCormick "M" on the large planting box there are some "shoes" that you can take out to restrict seed drop. I am looking for one of those shoes. Have one missing from mine.

Thanks email me direct.

Dave

Are you talking about the thin metal cover plate that goes over one side or the other of the opening depending on seed and rate that you are sowing or put one over both openings if you want to block off say every other opener for a wider row spacing?

Is your M drill a plain fluted feed, or double run feed?? If your drill is a plain fluted feed, or you talking about the adjustable bottom on the feed cup? If thats what your looking for, i have some.

Thanks for the replys. Nebraska cowman has it right. I pulled out my manual. It is a cast Iron shoe, offical name is reducer in the parts book part # NA 2563. My email is [email protected] If this does not work get back to me on the forum. Do not know why it would not work.

Thanks Dave
